Meeting Minutes
February 13, 2002
Dave Cavey called the HZBA meeting to order on February 13, 2003 at 7:05 p.m.
Meeting Minutes:
January meeting minutes were accepted.

Old business:
1. Membership drive and renewal - Bill Norris not present - no discussion.
2. HZBA Directory: Cathy Cooper distributed sample copies of the directory. The new deadline for advertising submissions is February 20, 2003. Four spots need to be sold. Cathy motioned to use part of the unsold space as a courtesy advertisement to the Hereford Library (that is if all spots are not sold); Henry made a second to this motion. All agreed. Expected date to appear in North County News still to be determined.

New Business:
1. Change in monthly meeting procedures: meeting start time, format beginning next meeting. Dave reviewed the minutes from the Executive Meeting held on January 27, 2003. Guest speakers would be four times per year. More emphasis will be on Business members who would like to present their business.
2. Food Bank contest public awareness - Rose will match either in pounds of food or dollar value the amount of food that HZBA members contribute to The Cluster Food Bank during the year. Each month members will be asked to bring a specific item for the food bank.

Committee Reports:
Treasurer report:
1. Jeanne Reynolds presented the treasurer report. Al motioned to accept; Henry made a second to the motion; All accepted.

Web Site update:
1. The new calendar is ready to go. Glenn suggested new wording for our ad in the North County News to promote the use of the calendar on the web site. Glenn and Bruce will get together and determine the new wording.
2. Membership: Renewal notices have been mailed or were distributed at the meeting.
3. Each member should begin considering a banner ad to be placed on our web site. At the moment there is no charge for this advertising. The banner ad should be 500 by 100 pixels.
