Rose called the HZBA meeting to order on August 8, 2002 at 7:18 pm.

July meeting minutes were accepted as presented. Accepted by Henry Rosendale, Second by Sam Nitzberg.

Old Busines:
1. Bylaws: They are in Heather Wirth's possesion for review.
2. 128 people attended the HBZA Reception at Woodhall Wine Cellars on July 23, 2002

Treasurers Report:

$1599.68 currently in checking.
Insurance premium of $400.00 has been paid.
Glenn McCalley moved to accept the report. Motion accepted.

New Business:

1. We had a brainstorming session for ideas to lend our support to the Hereford Fall Festival sponsored by the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department. With such short notice, we decided that a Basket Raffle would be our best effort. Next year we should plan for a representative of HZBA to actively participate in the meetings/planning preparation with the fire department.

2. Sam Nitzberg spoke about the York Road Merchant Association (YRMA). If anyone is interested in attending this meeting it is held the 1st Wednesday of each month.

Glenn McCalley will be the editor of the HZBA Website. Ed Mullins has agreed to give his support as an advisor. The information that Ed and Glenn have will need to be merged together. This may be completed by the next monthly meeting. Sharon Devin and Henry Rosendale have signed on to help with the maintenance of the site.
