Rose called the HZBA meeting to order on July 11, 2002 at 7:11 pm.

June minutes were accepted as presented.

Al Copp gave a brief presentation about the upcoming HZBA Reception on July 23 at Woodhall Wine Cellars. Flyers were distributed at the meeting. Al organized which members would distribute the flyers to Hereford Zone businesses.

Old Business:
1. Insurance: Dave Carey could not make the presentation so Rose presented for him. The insurance is in effect, but the policy premium still needs to be paid. Dave had given Jeanne Reynolds the policy, which she turned over to Rose.
2. Bylaws: They are in Heather Wirths' possession for review.

Treasure Report:
$1,799.68 currently in checking account.
Insurance premium is the current account payable.
Bruce moved to accept the report and Glenn seconded the motion.

Membership:
Chip Marshal has resigned as Membership chair. A replacement will be needed.

Web Site Update:
Ed Mullins gave a brief report on the HZBA website. Some members and other information are missing from the database. He passed around a list for those in attendance to update. It was returned to him during the meeting. The Website committee will meet on Tuesday, July 30. Details and meeting place to be determined.

Logo Committee Report:
Cathy Cooper presented three possible logos for HZBA. The stacked pyramid logo got the vote.

Member Business Presentations:
Sam Nitzberg, Chesapeake Sign gave a presentation for his business, passed out brochures and discount coupons, and explained how various signs are made.

Guest Speaker Presentation:
Jim Gante, Stambaugh Ness, PC, gave a presentation for this accounting firm, passed out literature and encouraged each of us to call if we have any questions.
